This spring, UBC awarded more than $700,000 to support community-university partnerships aimed at benefiting the community and promoting collaborative research, teaching, and learning.
CUES funding goes directly to community partners and prioritizes reciprocal and inclusive engagement. This approach ensures that all communities benefit, especially those that have been historically, persistently, or systemically marginalized.
Since its inception in 2018, the CUES Fund has awarded more than $3.2 million to 142 community-university partnerships, partnering with 18 undergraduate UBC partners on both Vancouver and Okanagan campuses.
