The Super Nintendo World area opening next year at Universal Studios in Orlando will include all the attractions from existing theme parks in Hollywood and Japan, including the first Donkey Kong country in the United States.according to it Universal’s latest teaser Epic Universe, the fourth Orlando-based park, will provide some clarity on what guests can expect on opening day in 2025.
The first event will be held at Universal Orlando. Yoshi Adventure Ride Outside of Japan, it’s an interactive, family-friendly experience that combines a rideable Yoshi-shaped buggy with a glow-in-the-dark treasure hunt. Other interactive his attractions called “Key Challenges” will also be dotted around the Nintendo-themed land. These mini-game challenges award guests with digital Bowser Keys that can be used to play Bowser Junior Shadow His Showdown. According to Universal, “you’ll fight to take back the Golden Mushroom from Bowser Jr.”

Super Nintendo World is technically two areas in one piece of land. Separated from Super Mario Land by the iconic green “pipe” tunnel, Donkey Kong Country is said to have a “more tropical feel.” Universal hasn’t released any details about what attractions this section of the park will include besides the flagship Mine Cart His Madness, but says it will share more details “in the coming months.”
