Tyrese Haliburton’s 11.9 assists per game is an NBA pace and his assist totals have consistently hovered at 11.5, but why we believe he will significantly exceed that number tonight against the Bucks. There is. For more information, check out his NBA betting picks below.
When the NBA odds to win the in-season tournament were first published, the Indiana Pacers were trading at +3,800 to win the NBA Cup. There are now only four teams left and the Pacers are +425 to win the tournament, as the tournament will be held in Las Vegas.
It won’t be an easy task for the Pacers, who face the tournament favorites on Thursday. Despite favoring the Bucks, the Pacers defeated them on November 9th. However, Cameron Payne was the Bucks’ starting point guard in that matchup. Vegas on Dame Time presents a slightly different challenge.
I’m not betting on the winner of the game, but I have strong opinions about the Pacers’ NBA player props. Find out why I’m backing Haliburton and throwing in a few cents in my free NBA picks on Thursday, December 7th.

Pacers vs. Bucks predictions
On Monday, I played the role of hilarious police at the Indiana Pacers’ NBA In-Season Tournament game, exposing everyone to the Tyrese Haliburton under at point prop. Even with the green check mark, it may have been the least fun bet to root for this season.
On Thursday, you’ll flip the script and place an over bet on the best passer in the sport. Monday’s underbet against Haliburton was pathetic, but this is just the opposite.
That’s a big number, totaling 11.5, and the fact that he only had 10 assists in his last game against the Bucks could be a cause for concern. But what I’m here to tell you is why you don’t need to worry about either factor.
The Milwaukee Bucks defense is noticeably weaker on offense. This is no secret. Their strength lies in their interior defense with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Brook Lopez.
What this means for Haliburton is that he can go wherever he wants on the court. But once he collapses defenses and finds himself in a matchup lane with Antetokounmpo and Lopez, he’ll likely look for a shooter or cutter.
In the Pacers’ last game against the Bucks, Haliburton had just 10 assists, which may not be as good as it seems at first glance considering you need over 11.5 assists to win the bet. However, Haliburton had the potential for 26 assists. Yes, I’m 26! Haliburton could be averaging 19.6 assists per game this season.
Haliburton is expected to dish out 12.8 assists on Thursday, which means he could be valued at -152 for more than 11.5 assists. With this prediction and a price of -125 on the score bet, you would receive a positive expected value of 8%.
Tyrese Haliburton’s bet: 11.5 assists or more (-125 for score bets)
Pacers vs Bucks same game parlay
Tyrese Haliburton 11.5+ assists
Buddy Hield over 2.5 made threes.
Myles Turner over 1.5 made threes.
Haliburton 11.5 assists or more on Thursday is our main bet, but how is he going to get there?
The Pacers will need a shooter, specifically Buddy Hield, to make the 3-point shot. If Haliburton is going to collapse the lane and kick out at will, Hield will be trying to take a ton of shots from beyond the arc.
Hield isn’t the only shooter we rely on as Haliburton’s assist prop. Myles Turner’s name isn’t the first that comes to mind, but there are several reasons why I think his minutes and shot attempts will increase on Thursday.
The Bucks’ strength is their frontcourt, and the Pacers don’t have a lot of size. The Pacers will rely heavily on Turner to acquire Glass, which should result in more playing time for Turner. In addition to needing Turner on defense and rebounding, the Pacers will also look to use his shooting to space the floor and draw the Bucks’ big teams out of the lane.
I’m sure the Pacers coaching staff will also emphasize that Turner shoots early and often. Because even the threat of Turner shooting helps give the offense space.

Pacers vs. Bucks spread and over/under analysis
The Bucks open as a 4.5 point favorite to win on FanDuel, and that number proves to be solid in the market. The Bucks’ -4.5 is a consistent number across sportsbooks, but there are some changes on both sides of the spread.
The total started at 254.5 on DraftKings and has since been bet up to 255.5. This total is about 25 points higher than the total for the second semifinal game between the Pelicans and Lakers. Welcome to a game featuring the Pacers. It should be a lot of fun.
