The Canadian Food Inspection Agency this week recalled a number of items over concerns ranging from product labeling to choking hazards.

Health Canada has announced a recall of two brands of energy drinks, continuing its crackdown on high caffeine content and lack of English and French labels that do not meet Canada’s caffeine content regulations.
of The recall includes all flavors of Bucked Up and Noo Fuzion drinksIt contains caffeine and has no bilingual labeling, according to authorities.
To date, 47 brands of energy drinks have been recalled in Canada.
The CFIA says Canadians should not “consume, offer, use, sell or distribute” these products.

This product is being recalled because it contains milk that is not listed on the label.
Someone had a reaction after eating the pizza and notified the CFIA.
The CFIA’s recall states, “If you have allergies or sensitivities, do not consume the recalled products.”
Consumers who purchase pizza must either throw away the product or return it to the place of purchase.
The CFIA has begun an investigation into the product, which could lead to further recalls, the agency said.
“Existence of foreign matter” NOW caused a recall of pumpkin seed oil tablets.
Health Canada has announced a recall of 1000 milligram size softgel vitamins.
The agency says people should talk to their health care provider before stopping using the tablets.
Pumpkin seed oil is “considered for its nutritional and medicinal properties”“It prevents and improves bladder and prostate problems and contains additional ‘essential’ fatty acids,” says the National Library of Medicine study.
Household goods
Ikea’s 40-watt USB charger, which can cause a “shock” to consumers and pose a “risk” of burns and electric shock, is also on the recall list.
The CFIA website states that the dark gray IKEA Ã…SKSTORM charger sold with model number ICPSW5-40-1 has been recalled.
“Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and return them to IKEA for a refund. Proof of purchase is not required,” the notice reads.
The charger cable can become “worn out” and cause burns. To date, he has sold 10,258 chargers in Canada.
Health Canada says no injuries have been reported, but IKEA has received 17 reports from other parts of the world.
The products were on sale from April 2020 to December 2023.
Giant Tiger products are being recalled by the CFIA.

Ford, Kia reminisce
Transport Canada recalls 7,164 Ford vehicles Due to engine problems.

In some vehicles, the engine oil pump tensioner or oil driver belt can fail. When this happens, the engine oil pressure can be lost, resulting in no power to the wheels or brake assist.
Transport Canada says this could increase the risk of accidents.
“Loss of power braking increases brake pedal force, which can lead to increased stopping distances,” the recall states.
Ford is notifying affected owners via email.
KIA vehicles are also on the recall list. The side airbags in some vehicles may not be constructed properly and can therefore “inflate.”
“As a result, the side curtain airbags could have been inflated without a crash,” Transport Canada’s recall states.
415 vehicles were affected in Canada. The 2024 KIA Seltos, 2023 Soul and Soul EV are subject to the recall.
