Another company was found to be at the center of an online hate storm against Prime Minister Justin Trudeau after he visited the store.
Just over a week after an Ontario brewery was flooded with negative reviews and comments on social media for inviting Prime Minister Trudeau, fast food chain A&W is now in a similar situation. There is.
On Friday, February 16, Prime Minister Trudeau retweeted a post from Kamalpreet Khera, Canada’s Minister of Diversity, Inclusion and People with Disabilities, referencing the newly launched A&W Burger. Based on a popular recipe hack among the South Asian community, the $3.99 Spicy Piri Piri Buddy Burger comes with your choice of chicken, beef or potato patty.

“This isn’t just a South Asian thing. It’s a Canadian thing!” Kela wrote. “Whether it’s in technology, business or food, South Asian innovation is everywhere in Canadian society.”
In response to her tweet, Trudeau shared a photo of himself shaking hands with an employee at A&W.
“Great story, and great burgers!” he said. “Kamal, I ate it today and it brought the heat. It was really, really good.”

Trudeau may have been showing support for burgers made by the South Asian community, but others online also shared their thoughts on the prime minister’s lunch choices.
How wonderful! He can afford takeout. My mortgage has increased by 10,000 yen a month due to interest rates. And my debt has decreased considerably since the last time I refinanced my mortgage. He can’t afford anything extra. Especially takeout. https://t.co/zYGySFTiZq

Prime Minister Trudeau screwed it up again.
No one will eat A&W anymore.— Tony Schiroso (@schiroso_t) February 17, 2024
Businesses that serve Justin are at risk of being boycotted. There’s something to think about.

The worst thing any company can do right now is let Trudeau do business near it. Prime Minister Trudeau is a sign of corruption and lies, so perhaps A&W is lying about the three new products.

Just like the common people.
Thanks for tarnishing their brand. Was it Teen Burger?–I won’t go quietly. (@Enert) February 17, 2024
Daily Hive has reached out to A&W for comment.
Have you ever had Piri Piri Burger?
