TAMPA BAY – The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed forward Dylan Duke to a three-year NHL contract, executive vice president and general manager Julien Brisebois announced today. Duke, 21, just completed his junior season at the University of Michigan, where he served as an alternate captain and was named to the All-B1G Ten second team after a year in which he scored 26 goals and 49 points in 41 games. Duke scored two goals, including the game-winning goal, and added an assist in the Wolverines’ 5-2 win over Michigan State, earning a spot in the Frozen Four before defeating Boston College in the national tournament. Duke, a native of Strongsville, Ohio, played in 123 games during his three years at the University of Michigan, scoring 54 goals and 100 points. He averaged 12 minutes, 19 seconds on the ice, had one goal and four assists in seven games, and led the United States to a bronze medal at the 2023 World Junior Championships.
