Rakuten Kobo, the maker of the popular Kobo e-reader, recently announced two new color e-readers: Kobo Libra Color and Kobo Clara Color. These new e-readers feature Kobo’s optimized color E Ink Kaleido 3 display, which the company says “offers a subtle palette that retains the benefits of E Ink technology.” That’s it.
Both color readers are serviceable and have an IPX8 rating. This means she can be submerged in 2 meters of water for an hour.

The company also announced an upgraded black and white version of the Kobo Clara BW, which offers more storage and a faster processor. The Kobo Libra Color and Kobo Clara Color are priced at $219.99 and $149.99, respectively. However, it is still unclear if and when these e-readers will be available for purchase in India.
