Erin Moriarty’s Instagram has gone cold after the “Boys” star accused Megyn Kelly of making unsubstantiated claims that she’s had multiple cosmetic surgeries.
Moriarty, 29, said on Friday that he did not delete his account so fans could see a statement criticizing Kelly’s offensive comments, but that he would no longer use the social media platform.
“The only reason I haven’t deactivated my account is because I’m leaving this account.” [statement] here. Otherwise, consider it disabled,” she said. I wrote a long article.
“It will be inaccessible for an extended period of time, if not permanently.”
Although Moriarty believes social media is a place where he can connect with his followers and share updates, he has decided to focus on work.
“Social media didn’t come naturally to me, it was something I spent energy connecting with you guys. And I’m horrified by the reaction, the reductive assumptions, and the aforementioned video. [of Kelly’s comments] It is a prime example of such harassment,” she shared.
“My heart is broken. You broke my heart. I have lost privileges for this account.”
Moriarty said internet users can believe what they want, but the accusations are “completely false.”
“I cannot accept the way it has been said and the way it has been spoken to me,” she wrote, calling the former Fox News host’s message “exhibitionist feminism.”
“I was in a hole and obsessed with this personal situation at hand. You never know what someone is going through and social media is a platform that is representative of the whole person. I am not, and there is no excuse for any words said directly to me or about me.”
Kelly, 53, went on a lengthy rant about Moriarty’s appearance on the Jan. 17 episode of his eponymous show, Sirius He also claimed to have had plastic surgery and injections.
“She has lips like Kim Kardashian. Her nose is so thin that it looks like a pencil. She’s got what looks to me like cheek implants,” she said. said. “There are more young women doing this.”
The then-fired NBC host sensationally called finishing the job a “sign of mental illness.”
“It’s not about opposition to plastic surgery, it’s about the obsession with turning yourself into this false version of yourself,” she said. “I feel like that’s a symptom of mental illness. It’s very upsetting. It’s a big setback for me. I just want to get in the head of these young girls and say, ‘Please don’t do this. ‘I want to say that.’

Kelly also showed “before” and “after” photos of Moriarty from a year ago and now to highlight her transformation.
However, in an Instagram post on Friday, Moriarty revealed that Kelly wasn’t even 21 years old in the “before” photo and that she was wearing makeup in the “after” photo.
“This is something I really didn’t expect to write. We’re all exposed to different levels of bullying throughout our lives, but I’m scared and I don’t want to give these things a little time. “I felt it was only natural that I should deal with this by taking the time to deal with it,” she wrote.
“I was horrified to learn of the widespread nature of the disgustingly false and counterproductive message I received in the ironically misogynistic video of Megyn Kelly commenting on manners. ”
Moriarty ended his final social media post by calling on Kelly to resign for spreading misinformation.
“To suggest that my photos reflect women in a worse position is as false as my belief that your resignation will put women in a better position.” she wrote.
