alec masser — of “All My Children” fame — has passed away… TMZ has learned.
The actor’s fiancée, Paige Press, said Musser died Friday night at his home in Del Mar, California. His uncle Robert also confirmed to us his nephew’s death…but neither he nor the press elaborated on the circumstances or the exact cause.
Musser is best remembered for playing Del Henry on the popular long-running soap opera from 2005 to 2007…during which time he appeared in a total of 43 episodes.
Other movies/TV shows he has appeared in include “Grown Ups,” “Rita Rocks,” “Desperate Housewives,” and “Road to the Alter.” Although he only appeared in six movies, Masser was known in showbiz for more than just his on-camera work…namely, his career as a fitness model.
He has appeared on the cover of several magazines, including Men’s Health, Men’s Workout, and Exercise Health. The man was a bodybuilder and had a great physique.
AM may not be active in H’wood these days, but he’s still a big presence on social media, sharing his continued health/fitness journey, active lifestyle, and even photos with his loved ones. Even emphasized. On the surface, everything seemed fine… His death was even more shocking.
Musser was only 50 years old.
RIP
