Nina returns to Genoa City to visit her family and reunite with her old friend Christine. Christine opens up about the end of her marriage to Paul and the feelings that have been stirring within her since Danny returned to town. However, Nina may also want to keep an eye on her love life with her son Chance. Despite dating Sharon, he also made a connection with girlfriend Summer, as he supported her through her breakup with Kyle and the drama involving her mother, Phyllis. Summer knows Chance is with Sharon, but that didn’t stop her from confessing her feelings for him to her brother Daniel.

Recently, at the Society, Nina and Christine get a call from the hospital and they say, “Yes, I’m Nina Webber.” Yes, I’m his mother. ” She stood up and asked, “How bad is that?!”
A stunned Nina reveals to Christina that Chance was shot. She rushed to the side of her son, who was lying unconscious in his hospital bed. She took his hand and she cried, she just wanted her eyes to open.
Later, Summer visits Chance and sits by his bedside, crying that she doesn’t know what will happen if she loses him. Sharon comes in! The Summer that Sharon knows has a crush on her man, but it looks like she needs to face trouble and nip her in the bud!
