Starting today (April 11), travelers can enjoy Porter Airlines flights from Vancouver to Montreal.
The new route will be the airline’s first Western Canadian route from Montreal and will provide an affordable alternative for locals looking to visit Quebec.
Porter Airlines announced in December 2023 that it will begin operating flights between Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and Montreal Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL) starting this spring.
The airline operates one nonstop flight daily between Vancouver and Montreal. From YVR he also offers connecting flights to YUL (with a stopover in Toronto).
In March, round-trip tickets from Vancouver to Montreal with Porter started at $356 when booked with a third-party supplier through Google Flights. Currently, the lowest prices start just under his $500 mark. For example, his flight departing YVR on Monday June 10th and returning from YUL on Monday June 17th would cost $491 when booked through FlightHub (see slide 3).
According to Google Flights, this price is considered low for an economy class ticket on a popular route, about $332 less than the regular price (see slide 4).
