Seahawks snap skid against Eagles
The Seattle Seahawks (7-7, 7-6-1 ATS) ended their losing streak at four with a 20-17 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night. Seattle must now move on from losing its last five games and falling to 2-5 overall (5-2-0 ATS).
Seattle fell behind by 10 points early on, but rallied to tie the game early in the third quarter. The Eagles regained the lead with less than five minutes left in the third quarter, but Seattle got within three points and Drew Lock threw a 29-yard touchdown pass with 28 seconds left to give Seattle the victory. Seattle was on the back foot for much of the game, but still won the game.

The Tennessee Titans (5-9, 6-8-0 ATS) lost to the Houston Texans 19-16 in overtime on Sunday. Houston has lost five of its last seven games and seven of its last 10. The Titans are 4-2 at home (4-2-0 ATS) and have lost their last two games at Tennessee.
Tennessee led 6-0 in the first quarter and led by 10 points at the half. However, Houston was able to get within four points. Tennessee increased its lead to seven points with just over seven minutes left in the game, but a 3-yard touchdown pass with three minutes remaining tied the game and Houston won in overtime. Tennessee struggled to move the ball on the ground, rushing for only 66 total yards and Will Revis throwing for 199 yards.
“It could have been much worse, but I think we’ll be fine.” Levi said Regarding the injury that forced him to leave the game with about two minutes left in overtime.

Tennessee had 14 players miss practice due to injury this week and was eliminated from the playoffs. That includes Pro Bowl defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons, who has missed the past two games.
One of the big things to watch will be the Titans’ offensive line. Two rookies will start on the left side and another rookie will start at right tackle. This should be good news for the Seahawks’ defense, which boasts 39 total sacks, led by Boi Maffe with seven. With Levi potentially unavailable for this game, Tennessee will have to rely on Derrick Henry, which could be a problem as he averages just 3.8 yards per carry.
The good news for the Seahawks is that quarterback Geno Smith is likely to return after missing the past two games. He was available for Monday night’s game but did not play. Smith completed 64.4 percent of his passes for 2,918 yards and 15 touchdowns. Tennessee knows how to go after quarterbacks (41 sacks), but they only have four interceptions and eight fumble recoveries.

Seattle has trailed in four of its last six games, including the last two. Tennessee has also lost four of its last six games, including the most recent game against Houston. The Titans have been held to 20 points or less seven times in their last 10 games, which doesn’t bode well, especially considering they could be without their quarterback. Seattle has been held to 20 points or less in five of their last seven games.
The changes to the offensive line will hurt Tennessee in this contest. They’re going to have a hard time protecting the quarterback (the player under center) and running the ball. Seattle should have great success by holding the Titans to 13 points or less. Seattle isn’t an offensive powerhouse either, so their ceiling is probably 20-24 points. This definitely puts this game under 42.
