Palworld’s incredible launch success continues to grow as it is now the second most popular game of all time on Steam.
Palworld hit a staggering 1,853,216 concurrent players on Steam today, January 23rd. This marks Pocketpair’s controversial “Pokémon with guns” crafting and survival game that has overtaken Valve’s Counter-Strike. SteamDB.
Palworld is second only to PUBG, and its impressive Steam concurrent user peak of 3,257,248 was recorded during the game’s heyday during the battle royale boom.
Although it seems unlikely that Palworld will reach such heights, its increasing sales success suggests that a larger concurrent peak is still to come. And let’s not forget that Palworld launched in early access form and Pocketpair said he would last a year.
meanwhile, pocket pair said Palworld sold 6 million copies in just four days. It launched on January 19th on Xbox consoles and PC via Steam and Windows. Day and Date is also now available on Game Pass.

Palworld is already one of the biggest game launches of all time, but it’s also one of the most controversial. Pocketpair staff said: Receives death threats amid Pokemon ‘rip-off’ claimsand Nintendo acted quickly to remove eye-catching Pokemon mods. With Palworld’s big launch, the servers are also struggling.
