Forbes’ list of Canada’s Top Employers is based on staff nominations and public input.
Toronto – A large employer in Sault Ste. Marie is celebrating once again being named to Business Magazine’s list of Canada’s Best Places to Work.
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation says it is “thrilled” to have been named to Forbes’ prestigious list of Canada’s Best Employers for the third year in a row.
“We are extremely proud to have been named to the Forbes list for the third year in a row,” OLG President and CEO Duncan Hannay said in a news release.
“This is because the work we are doing to build a winning culture at OLG resonates with our employees, and the investments we are making in our people are making our employees more excited about working for OLG. It means that it has a positive influence on the way you feel.
“Our employees are deeply committed to our purpose of contributing to a better Ontario. They work hard every day to provide great gaming entertainment and make a real difference to people across Ontario. They come in and work tirelessly, and it’s an honor to work with all the OLGers.”
Forbes and Statista selected Canada’s Best Employers of 2024 through an independent survey of more than 40,000 employees at companies with 500 or more employees.
OLG has offices throughout the Greater Toronto Area, as well as the Sault Area.
The ratings are based on direct and indirect recommendations from employees who were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their employer to friends and family, as well as input from the general public, according to the release. That’s what it means.
“We are truly humbled to know that so many of our employees continue to find OLG a great place to work,” said Esther Zdrek, OLG’s senior vice president of human resources. I would like to thank all OLGs for their cooperation.” And culture.
“Together, we are moving towards our common goal of fostering an inclusive, innovative and engaging workplace – one where different perspectives and backgrounds are valued and celebrated.”
