San Francisco, Dec 30 (IANS): Following Android, Microsoft has released the AI-powered Copilot app for Apple iOS and iPadOS users.
Both versions of the Copilot app (formerly Bing Chat) are now available for download from the Apple App Store.
This app works similarly to OpenAI’s ChatGPT mobile app.
“Improve your productivity with Copilot, the AI-powered chat assistant. Copilot is Microsoft’s pioneering chat assistant, powered by the latest OpenAI models, GPT-4 and DALL·E 3.” as stated in the app description.
Unlike the free version of ChatGPT, which runs GPT-3.5, Copilot gives you free access to OpenAI’s latest large-scale language model (LLM), GPT-4.
The Copilot app on iOS gives you access to chatbot functionality, image generation with DALL-E 3, and the ability to draft text for emails and documents.
“These advanced AI technologies not only provide fast, complex, and accurate responses, but also the ability to create breathtaking visuals from simple text descriptions. You can do it anywhere for free,” Microsoft said.
The tech giant recently rebranded Bing Chat to Copilot. The tech giant also partnered with Suno, a leader in AI-based music production, to bring that functionality to his Copilot.
Earlier this month, the company announced a number of new features coming soon to its Copilot service, including the latest models in OpenAI.
