Michael Jackson’s nephew Jaafar appears dressed as the King of Pop on the set of the biopic

Jaafar appeared in full hair, make-up and costume on Thursday on location in Los Angeles’ Encino neighborhood, where cameras were rolling… Michael, the first official film to tackle MJ’s life on the big screen.

Lionsgate, the studio behind the upcoming biopic, released the first look of Jackson as MJ earlier this week…a photo that recreates the singer’s 1992-1993 Dangerous Tour. Even in that promotional photo, Jaafar was seriously channeling MJ… passing as a dead ringer for the entertainer.

Now, we get a slightly different look at Jaafar as Michael… this time, he’s a little more formal in a white button-down shirt and tie – and we get a slightly different look at what he looks like. You can really see it.

Nia Long Jaafar joined the set here on Thursday…remember, she Michael’s mother, katherine jackson. She too has been completely transformed and is almost unrecognizable.

Just like Ja’far, Nia is also a doppelgänger of her character… not much different from what we saw last week. Colman Domingo (playing Joe Jackson) and other actors who played the young Jackson 5. Everyone was completely immersed in their roles and looked great.

Of course, Jaafar is the star…and from the looks of it, he is Become Michael jackson.

The highly anticipated biopic won’t hit theaters until April 2025…and everything we’ve seen so far seems to be on point, at least visually.
