All I can do is help you get a little better,” Lizzo wrote in an Instagram post shared Friday night. “But I’m starting to feel like the world doesn’t want me to be a part of it,” she continued, adding, “I’m always pushing back against the lies that are told about me for influence and viewership…joking every time.” I am the seed of a man,” she added, adding that time has not passed because of the way I look… People who don’t know me discriminate against my personality and disrespect my name. ”
The Grammy Award winner concluded his message with this:
Last August, three of Lizzo’s former dancers sued Lizzo, accusing her of sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment stemming from incidents that allegedly occurred between 2021 and 2023.
The following September, another former Lizzo employee filed a lawsuit against her, accusing the artist and her team of racial and sexual harassment, disability discrimination, unlawful retaliatory termination, and assault.
Lizzo has previously denied all accusations, responding in a statement: day to day. There is nothing I take more seriously than the respect we deserve as women around the world. I know what it feels like to be body shamed on a daily basis, and I would never criticize or fire an employee because of their weight.
