LOS ANGELES (AP) — Lisa Bonet has filed for divorce from Jason Momoa, 18 years after the two actors became a couple.
Bonet, 56, whose legal name is Lilakoi Moon, filed papers in Los Angeles County Court on Monday dissolving her marriage to Momoa, 44. The filing comes nearly two years after they announced their separation.
The petition cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. The filing also states that neither should receive financial support and that they have agreed on how to divide their assets. The documents state that the couple should have joint custody of their 16-year-old daughter and 15-year-old son.
Momoa is best known for his roles in the films “Aquaman” and “Game of Thrones,” while Bonet has starred in “The Cosby Show,” its spinoff “A Different World,” and the film “High.” He was the star of “Fidelity” and “Enemy.” of the state. ”
The two met in 2005 and began dating, but they didn’t legally marry in 2017. The divorce filing states the date of separation as October 2020, more than a year before the announcement. It will be at least six months before a judge issues a divorce.
