On a recent episode of AEW Dynamite, there was an official update regarding the championship being returned by an AEW star.
After successfully defending the ROH TV Championship against Keith Lee last night on AEW Dynamite (November 8), Samoa Joe goes on to make a surprising announcement.
Samoa Joe plans to continue targeting MJF for the AEW World Championship and will immediately relinquish the ROH TV Championship.
He was seen leaving the belt in the ring and then trying to provoke MJF backstage to end the show.
Ring of Honor has had some announcements regarding the future of the title, or at least future updates.
