When it comes to NFL picks; NFL predictions That’s excellent.
Jaguars bounce back with overwhelming victory
The Jacksonville Jaguars continue to shine. The team has won five of its past six games, backed by an outstanding defense. Their only loss during that time was a 34-4 loss at home to a powerful 49ers team earlier this month. They bounced back from last week’s blowout 34-14 win at home against the Titans, covering a 6.5-point deficit. Jacksonville leads the division by one game over the Texans. The Jaguars have covered in two of their last three home games.
trevor lawrence I am having a fulfilling year again this year. The 24-year-old QB doesn’t put up big numbers, but he’s efficient. He has recorded 250 or more passing yards just four times this season, with 2,382 passing yards and an 11:6 TD-to-INT ratio. Travis Etienne Jr. has rushed for at least 50 yards in all but two games this season. The 24-year-old running back currently has 670 rushing yards and is averaging 3.9 yards per rush. The receiving group is solid, led by Christian Kirk. The veteran WR gained at least 80 yards four times and had 672 receiving yards on the season. Jacksonville’s offense has scored 20 points or less in two of its last three games, including 20 points in the win over the Steelers.

The Jaguars’ defense, while inconsistent at times, was the key to many wins. This group includes a strong offensive team, including only 20 players who played against the Bills. In last week’s win, he held the Titans to just 235 total yards. His pass defense has been an issue, ranking him 29th, but his rush defense has been excellent, ranking him 4th.
Jacksonville averages 23 points per game and ranks 13th. Their average goals conceded is 20.4, which is good for 11th place.

Texans stay strong with 3 straight wins
The Houston Texans are aiming for their fourth consecutive championship. Houston continues to grow in confidence and believes they can win the AFC South. Their current winning streak has proven they are the real deal. They defeated the Buccaneers 39-37, followed by a 30-27 road win against the Bengals. Last week, the Texans narrowly defeated the Cardinals at home, 21-16, and were the favorites by 5.5 points. The Texans have covered the spread in one of their last three home games.
CJ Stroud Continue to shine. The 22-year-old rookie quarterback has had three straight games with over 300 passing yards. He chucked three interceptions last week, but was able to overcome his mistakes. Stroud had 2,962 passing yards this season with a TD-to-INT ratio of 17:5.
Devin Singletary also had a great year, rushing for over 100 yards in his second consecutive performance. The 26-year-old running back has been seen more recently due to Dameon Pierce’s injury and uncertainty. Singletary’s rushing yards are 471 and he is 4.1 yards per rush. The receiving core has a wealth of viable options for Strud. Nico Collins returned from a one-game absence and had 65 receiving yards against the Cardinals. The 24-year-old WR leads the team with 696 receiving yards. Houston’s offense has scored 30 points in two of the last three games. He has scored 30 points four times this year.

The Texans defense is decent. The unit has struggled in several games, wasting 31 points against the Colts and 37 points against the Bucs. The defense was great last week, giving up just 319 total yards and three sacks. They mark their defensive strengths, ranking 25th in pass defense and 8th in rush defense.
Houston ranks 10th in scoring with an average of 23.8 points per season. They are in 15th place with a difference of 20.8 points over their opponents.

evaluation:
The Jacksonville Jaguars have been one of the best teams in the NFL since October. Their only loss since September came against the 49ers, one of the best teams. Jacksonville has been dominant on the road, boasting a 5-0 record, including two games overseas. They have road wins against the Bills and Steelers.
Additionally, Jacksonville clearly has a strong passing offense with Lawrence at the center. Although they are averaging a decent 225 passing yards per game, the Texans’ pass defense is a glaring weakness, allowing an average of 241 passing yards, which ranks 25th in the NFL. The Jaguars’ last four wins have all been by a touchdown or more.
Prediction: Jacksonville Jaguars -1.5

We can expect a lot of points in this division match. These rivals most recently met in October, with a nearly 10-point difference. Trevor Lawrence managed to record an incredible 279 passing yards in this game. Jacksonville has been on a roll, averaging 25 points in their last five games.
Additionally, the Texans scored 37 points in the first matchup. Stroud had 280 passing yards in the game and will do well against a Jags pass defense that ranks 29th. Houston has reached 30 points in two of its last three games. Jacksonville also lacks a strong pass rush. They didn’t have a sack in the first matchup, so I expect Stroud to be given plenty of time. The Jaguars are 4-1 in their last five divisional games.
Prediction: 47.5 or higher
