Motorola announced Edge+ (2023) in May, which was joined by Edge (2023), which arrived over a month ago.
Motorola Edge (2023) is powered by Dimensity 7030 SoC and comes in a single 8GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration. The smartphone boots Android 13, but it’s unclear how many years it will receive software updates.
The Motorola Edge (2023) is built around a 6.6-inch 144Hz pOLED display with support for 10-bit color and HDR10+. The panel has a touch sampling rate of 360Hz and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. The frame of the Motorola Edge (2023) is made from sandblasted aluminum, and the caseback is made from soft vegan leather. It has a flash and two cameras – 50MP primary (with OIS) and 13MP ultrawide (120° FOV). The latter allows macro photography using the Macro Vision feature.
Motorola Edge (2023) has a 4,400 mAh battery with 68W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. Other highlights of the smartphone include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos tuning, NFC, IP68 rating, and USB-C.
