Heidi Gardner loses on ‘SNL’ in ‘Beavis and Butthead’ parody

In one of the sketches, saturday night live The cast tonight was completely broken characters. Beavis & Butthead Parody.

Heidi Gardner plays a NewsNation journalist who holds a town hall on AI, and Kenan Thompson plays an MIT professor.

As the two were discussing AI, Thompson’s character was distracted by an audience member who bore a striking resemblance to Beavis, an animated character created and voiced by Mike Judge. Host Ryan Gosling wore Bevis’ signature flat-top blonde hair, blue T-shirt, and shorts.

“There’s a gentleman in the audience who bears an uncanny resemblance to the cartoon Beavis. beavis and butthead” Thompson’s character said.

The MIT professor asks Beavis to move so he can distract her. Gardner turns around and asks “Beavis” to move, breaking his character. Gosling’s Beavis is then replaced by someone who looks like Butthead.

“Right now, there’s a gentleman behind you who looks like Butthead,” Thompson’s character pointed out.

When Gardner laid eyes on Butthead, played by Mikey Day, she couldn’t hold back her laughter and completely lost it, breaking character. After her long break, the comedian takes time to recover as her audience cheers her on.

Beavis and the Butt-Head lookalike then sit together and begin laughing cartoonishly, distracting Thompson’s character. At the end of the sketch, Gardner says that in the next segment he will be talking to a group of men similar to another of Mike Judge’s animated shows, Gentlemen in Texas who lost their jobs due to AI. King of the Hill.

beavis and butthead It first aired on MTV in 1993 and ran for eight seasons. The show was revived in 2022 on Paramount+.
