Greta Gerwig is already circling her next movie, but it won’t be a walk in the park like “Barbie”… if anything, she sounds like the exact opposite of it.
The screenwriter and director appeared at the London Film Festival on Sunday, where she took to the stage for a sit-down interview with the creator of “Succession.” jesse armstrong …Who asked her a lot of questions, including how she came down the mountain.

Gerwig didn’t go into detail about what exactly she’s working on, but she did admit that she’s already working on another feature, which makes her nervous.
She said: “It’s very difficult and I have recurring nightmares.” The video of her making this comment has not been released, and only summaries from news outlets who were present remain, so we don’t know exactly what she focused on or whether she really There’s no real context for what you wanted to say.
Some have characterized her remarks as being terrified of re-entering the writing process…but the quote itself is a bit strange considering “Barbie” was light-hearted and easy to watch – not to mention , it was a complete work Delight the crowd with a home run.
What we can infer is that it’s not “Barbie 2” she’s talking about. Despite the success of OG, no green light has yet been given for a sequel. If a sequel had already been made, hints of it would have leaked out by now. Again, the WGA strike just ended — so… 🤷🏽♂️
Worth noting… ‘Barbie’ is Greta’s first big thing mainstream blockbuster, and is incredibly different in tone from everything else she’s worked on. She’s from the Indies, and if her nightmarish quips are any indication, she may be in a tougher spot now.
