according to window report, Chrome will be adding a “Chat with Gemini” shortcut to the address bar, so you won’t need to visit Gemini’s official website. This feature isn’t popular yet, but you should be able to try it out using the “Chat with Gemini” shortcut.

How to use Gemini in Chrome now
I can type “@gemini” and see if anything comes up, but it doesn’t work at the moment and I can’t click or select it. This is still part of the Chrome Canary patch, Google’s channel for testing potential new features that enthusiasts and developers can try out and provide feedback.
If you want to try it out, you can launch and setup chrome canaryonce the test browser is installed, you can type: chrome:// flag Type it in the address bar and press Enter. This will take you to your site’s Extension Packs page where you can enable the Starter Pack.
Just restart your browser and you’re done. You can now chat with Gemini from the address bar. Of course, this is still in testing, so there is no guarantee that it will work perfectly, and we don’t yet know if this feature will make it to the public version of the browser. However, if it is released to the public, it will be good news for fans of Gemini and those who want to get more familiar with his ChatGPT alternative.
