Fortnite Season 1 Chapter 5 officially marks our return to the world of modern game design and graphics. Both Peter Griffin from Family Guy and Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid are unleashed on an all-new battle royale island.
While last season’s OG Pass only contained 70 tiers worth of items, the Chapter 5 Battle Pass is regular sized. For 950 V-Bucks, you get 8 skins and an accompanying set of back bling, pickaxe, glider, and more. There are also 1500 V-Bucks unlocked throughout the pass, which can be used in the item shop or on the next season’s pass. .
These collaborations are big news, but even bigger news is the addition of three new game modes: LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival. This Battle Pass includes a page of Rocket Racing rewards, including vehicle bodies that can be used in both Rocket Racing and Battle Royale. And with the majority of Fortnite skins including the LEGO version, you can expect these new Battle Pass skins to be available in LEGO Fortnite as well.
As usual, this Battle Pass skin tells the story of the season, with Vengeance Jones and Hope competing against the rest of the pass, including a buff Peter Griffin, to rescue Peely. Pass’ other characters, Oscar, Nisha, Montague, Peter, and Valeria, are NPC bosses that can be fought during Battle Royale matches, and few skins could match the coolness of this crew. Of course, there are also new weapons and map changes.
Similar to the past few full seasons, Battle Pass rewards are divided into four groups. Standard rewards from level 1 to 100, bonus rewards from 101 to 200, quest rewards for doing weekly quests, and bonus skins coming in late January. Let’s take a look at everything about the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 Battle Pass.
