flydubai has increased the number of flights to both Ljubljana and Zagreb in the first three quarters of this year compared to the same period in 2022, and the company plans to add flights to these two cities in the future. The Dubai-based airline welcomed 42,561 passengers on its Ljubljana flights, resulting in an average six-month cabin load factor of 69.8%, according to the Slovenian Statistics Authority. The airline saw a 25.9% increase in travelers and a 12-point improvement in average cabin load factor compared to 2022. flydubai currently operates four rotating weekly flights to the Slovenian capital. The airline will increase the number of flights daily starting December 18th and will maintain it until January 14th, after which it will reduce the frequency to five times a week and increase it again to daily flights from February 1st.

Emirates Airlines canceled flights to Zagreb in 2020 at the start of the coronavirus pandemic. However, the airline said it was recovering rapidly from the pandemic and its operational capacity should return to pre-COVID-19 levels next year, but no final decision had been made yet regarding the Zagreb flight. “We hope to resume operations in Zagreb in the future when it is commercially and operationally possible and will officially announce any progress in this regard,” the airline said in a statement.
