Announced last week as the 30th member of the ECHL, the expansion team from Bloomington, Illinois, which will begin play in the 2024-25 season, announced today that it will be known as the Bloomington Bison.
The Bison are under the ownership of Hallett Sports and Entertainment. The organization also oversees operations for the Indy Fuel and the recently expanded Fishers Freight Football team in the Indoor Football League.
