Duchess Kate has received support from her family despite being diagnosed with cancer.
“She has a very close-knit group of friends, especially in Norfolk, who are really close,” says royal expert Katie Nicholl. told Entertainment Tonight In an interview published Tuesday. “But I think the real supports in her life are her parents, her brother James and her sister Pippa.”
“It’s true that you don’t often see them photographed together, but they’re very much present in the background,” she continued. “They are absolutely basic.”
Following his sister’s shocking announcement, James shared a message of support for his sister along with a throwback photo from their childhood.
“Over the years, we have climbed many mountains together. As a family, we will climb this one with you too ⛰️❤️,” he captioned the touching post.
Mr Nicol added that the Princess of Wales’ parents, Carol and Michael, were “relieved” that her cancer was caught at an early stage, adding: “The fact that the chemotherapy is preventive chemotherapy He said he felt safe.
“She’s safe because she’s going to see some of the best doctors in the world,” Nicole reasoned.
“Carole and Michael, they’ve always been an incredibly strong couple and also very down-to-earth…What they’re doing now is not just William and Kate, but coming together to support Carol. That’s it. [but] Their grandchildren too. ”
In a cancer diagnosis announcement video she shared on Friday, Middleton, 42, said her husband Prince William was by her side as a “huge comfort and reassurance.”
Page Six has learned that the 41-year-old Prince of Wales skipped a memorial service honoring his late godfather, King Constantine II of Greece, in February after learning of Middleton’s illness.
The couple have since taken refuge at Anmer Hall in Norfolk with their three children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five, to enjoy some family time.
Middleton will not be part of the royal family at this year’s Easter service due to ongoing chemotherapy. It is unclear whether Prince William and his children will appear.

Middleton’s diagnosis announcement, of course, comes a month after her father-in-law, Charles III, revealed he was undergoing treatment for cancer.
