Beeper launched the original version of Beeper Mini on December 5th, which allows Android owners to use iMessage with just their phone number, but Apple found a way to shut it down just three days later. Beeper got the Beeper Mini working again on Monday, but it only works with an Apple ID. We’ll have to wait and see if this seemingly intentional block will only affect his 5% of Beeper Mini users, or if Apple will find a way to block even more users.
