Ali Wong has filed for divorce from her husband Justin Hakuta.
She filed suit in Beverly Hills on Friday, nearly two years after their split was confirmed, citing “irreconcilable differences,” according to court documents. Obtained by TMZ.
According to TMZ, Wong, 41, is seeking a forced prenup, and the couple is currently in mediation to sort out their assets and decide on spousal and child support.
The couple, who walked on the sidewalk in 2014, have two minor daughters, Mari, 8, and Nikki, 6.
The comedian requested joint legal and physical custody of his daughters.
According to reports, the date of separation is set as April 10, 2022, two days after Wong’s representative confirmed that they were indeed separated.
Page Six did not immediately receive a response from Wong’s representatives regarding the divorce.
In March of this year, Wong told the Hollywood Reporter She said she and the former GoodRx vice president are still “really, really good friends” and even “best friends.”
She further explained: “We’ve been through a lot together. It’s a very unusual divorce.”

In her 2016 stand-up special “Baby Cobra,” the “Beef” actress joked that once she found out Hakuta was a business student at Harvard University, she was determined to make him fall in love with her. Ta.
“I thought, ‘Oh my god, I’m going to get him. I’m going to get his ass!'” she fondly recalled.
“And I initially trapped his ass by not kissing him until the fifth date, which is very unusual behavior for me.”
In her 2019 memoir, Dear Girls: Intimate Tales, Untold Secrets & Advice for Living Your Best Life, she revealed that having a prenuptial agreement was the driving force behind her successful career.
“That prenup was really scary. At the end of the day, being forced to sign a prenuptial agreement was one of the biggest things that happened to me and my career,” she wrote.
Insiders exclusively revealed to Page Six in December that Wong would be joining fellow comedian Bill Hader from Hakuta in 2022 for “at least two months.”
After a brief breakup, Page Six confirmed they were back together in April 2023, and they were also photographed kissing while taking a walk in Los Angeles.
