Rock ‘n’ roll band Kiss has canceled their show at the Canadian Tire Center in Ottawa.
Canadian Tire Center released a statement from the band on social media saying the show was canceled due to an “unexpected illness outbreak at the band’s party.”
KISS was scheduled to perform in Ottawa on Tuesday night as part of their End of the Road tour, but they received word of the cancellation just before the show was due to open. Fans had already arrived at the arena but were told the show would not go on.
The band described the Ottawa show as one of the “absolute final shows” of the final tour. It is unclear whether the show will be rescheduled. KISS is scheduled to play at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena on Wednesday.
The End of the Road Tour began in 2018, and KISS performed at the Canadian Tire Center in April 2019. The tour is scheduled to conclude permanently in December with back-to-back shows at Madison Square Garden.
ticket master stated on the website You don’t need to do anything to receive a refund for cancellation.
“Once funds are received from the event organizer, they will be processed using the original payment method used for purchase, typically within 30 days,” Ticketmaster said.
