Call of Duty has confirmed Richochet anti-cheat upgrades for the Modern Warfare 3 beta as waves of cheaters have already invaded the game.
On October 12, Activision announced that a new detection and protection suite will be rolled out after Modern Warfare 3 launches, but this news comes amid an expected new wave of cheaters in the beta. It was held in.
Watchdog group Anti-Cheat Police has previously warned that cheat providers are distributing their software for free during the PC early access beta period.

However, Activision will be responding and increasing efforts to keep the community safe, also addressing the cheating issues that plagued the first beta despite PlayStation exclusivity.
MW3 promises permanent banning of cheaters during beta period
In a post on X (formerly known as Twitter), CoD claimed that only a “small number of accounts” were caught cheating over the weekend.
That said, the team promised to be ready for the second weekend and issued a warning to anyone who discovered malicious software exploits such as aimbots and wall hacking.

“As we head into the second weekend, our team will be actively monitoring the beta and implementing permanent bans on accounts detected to be fraudulent across all platforms,” they said.
As the battle against hackers continues, we’ll see how many bans will be issued during the beta period, and what improvements the developers have made to Richet in time for MW3’s launch on November 10th. It will be interesting to see.
