Prime Minister’s Christmas Message
“Merry Christmas everyone! It’s a very special time of year. It’s a time to gather with loved ones, celebrate the spirit of the season, and be thankful for all that is good in the world.
“For Christians, this is a time to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and reflect on his story of kindness, forgiveness, and faith. His life lessons are universal and inspire others each time they are told. He will give you and comfort you.
“For you, the holidays may be a time of big family gatherings, feasts, presents and celebrations. But they may also be a very difficult time. If you’re sad or worried, Or if you’re alone, this can be the toughest time of the year.”It can be the loneliest thing. So let’s check in on those who haven’t had it easy this year and who may need us more than we realize.
“As we reflect on the past year and look to the future, let us continue to show love and kindness to ourselves and those in need. And as we look back on the past year and look to the future, let us continue to show love and kindness to ourselves and to those in need. And let us also give so much of ourselves to put Canada on top of the world.” Let’s take a moment to thank those who give back, including the brave members of the Canadian Armed Forces, our dedicated first responders and essential workers, and the countless volunteers who make our home so proud. Thank you to everyone.
“I wish joy to all who are celebrating today and comfort to those who are suffering. I hope that wherever you are, you find light and hope in the coming year. Merry Christmas.”
