And they stretched it to 12 thanks to a 2/5 Oilers power play, a 2/5 penalty, a favorable (and correct) coaches challenge, and a great performance from Stuart Skinner. This ties the Canadian franchise record set in 1967 with 68 Canadians in Montreal.

After that, a turnover deep in the O-zone led to a goal conceded. At the beginning of the second game, he was called out again for some pretty mild abuse.n.d. But his buddies killed it. A hard forecheck drew a call and the Oilers were tied at 2-2. A hard forecheck by Hyman that narrowly missed forced a turnover. He hit Hyman with a nifty backhand to make it 4-2 and extend his scoring streak to 12 games. 67% in face-offs.

ryan nugent hopkins. 6. Win the battle along the wall and clear in 1cent PK of the match. It’s an assist. Slightly better than 5v5 breakeven CF. Some of the recently struggling PP that broke out between a couple tonight. His biggest contribution was a perfect 5/5 penalty.
zach hyman. 7. I couldn’t find any good tips about PP. Won the puck battle on the face-off and participated in the engagement for a 2-2 PP goal. Failed to improve the turnovers forced at 97 early in the third game.rd. 3rd I will take the period home. 3 Backdoor relatedrd 4-2 period PP.
nurse darnell. 5. Career Game #600. At 2-0, they couldn’t contain the pass cross. He then juggled the puck right in front of him, and McLeod almost sent it into his own net. 2 blocked shots at number 2n.d. Period PK. Improper O-Zone Holding Penalty in 3 Gamesrd But he was killed. I got stronger as the match went on, but it was just “okay.”
Cody Ceci. 7. Solid game. He only has one high-danger chance against 5-on-5. Great flow of play metrics. And a key part of the penalty kill (3:11 SH TOI) was a perfect 5-on-5.
Leon Draisaitl. 9. Best player on the ice. Probably his best two-way performance of the season so far. Draisaitl took down his opponent and fired a hard wrister at Daccord early in the first match.cent. in 2n.d., the puck found the net after a nice zone entry, and Fogle buried the rebound for an assist to make it 2-1. He grabbed a rebound from Hyman for a 2-2 PP goal (his first since Dec. 8).th). He then sent Fogle alone with a great backhand feed to make it 3-2. 3 Get ready to get a chance at the Hatter early in the gamerd. 3rd Seattle’s sortie was suspended due to back-checking the period. Secondary assist in 4-2. 13/14 Draw.

Evander Kane. 7. The most dangerous shotcent Period 4-4. He tried to force a pass through, but two of Edmonton’s best defensemen were taken down on the play, but it was reversed to make it 2-0. His quick forecheck led to a 2-1 lead and was a well-deserved assist.Assist in Heads Up Playoffs The Wall, 3-2, 600 pointsth Career NHL Points. His best game in a while.
Warren Fogel. 8. Buried Draisaitl’s rebound from the circle to make it 2-1. He then broke through Seattle’s line, picked off a great pass from Draisaitl and fired high to make it 3-2. Quite a goal. Hardlister feeds Draisaitl early in the third game.rd It was mostly a hat. 5 shots. He was at his best on Draisaitl’s right side.
Matthias Ekholm. 5. At 2-0, pull the opponent (the player who ends up scoring the goal) away from him. He got a trip call after a bad pinch by Bouchard led to an odd-man rush for Seattle. He crushed Evert with a hit. Great read and clear in 3rd Period PK. Absorbed Gould’s high hit on the third try.rd That led to the majors. He had four hits. HDSC 5v5 3-1 (but “1” was amazing).
Evan Bouchard. 4. He was watching the puck and had his player run behind him on a 1-0. His wrist shot from the point was almost deflected away by Hyman. But he also missed some chances to explode early. The top-to-bottom pass worked well on his PP in the 3-2 sequence. An ill-timed pinch resulted in a sequence where partner Ekholm received a trip call. 3rd Sales for the period. I’ve been feeling a little unwell lately.

Sam Gagner. 5. Won the early puck battle deep in the D zone, leading to a clear game. 1cent Period shot block. smart 3rd Menstrual stick. Solid return.
james hamblin. 5. We jumped and played. His line ate up valuable O-zone time. 75% in a draw. He was better than his low CF numbers indicated.
