MMA Fighting has results from Saturday night’s UFC 296 Edwards vs. Covington fight card at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, a live blog of the entire main card, and more.
In the main event, Leon Edwards will face Colby Covington for the UFC welterweight title. Edwards is on an 11-fight winning streak, but Covington hasn’t stepped into the cage since defeating Jorge Masvidal by unanimous decision at UFC 272 last March.
UFC flyweight champion Alexandre Pantoja will look to defend his title in a rematch with Brandon Roybal. Pantoja previously defeated Roybal by submission (rear naked choke) at UFC Vegas 34 in August 2021.
