Suicide Squad’s “Early Access” period begins late Monday night on consoles (Tuesday at 10 a.m. PT on Steam) worldwide. That essentially means it’s officially released. Unfortunately, we can’t immediately provide a review of Rocksteady’s new Game-as-a-Service router shooter because we weren’t sent a code in advance. In fact, Warner Bros. Games informed IGN that they declined to review it. Please send me the code.
This is unfortunate, as we always strive to get a complete opinion on the major games available at launch, but we’re not obligated or required to submit review codes, so it’s good enough. is within the rights of WB. We’ll buy our own copy and begin ongoing reviews, guides, and other coverage as soon as it’s released, and then we’ll have impressions up as soon as possible. Thank you for waiting patiently!
If there are no reviews, we recommend checking out our hands-on. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League preview From the beginning of this month. Our previewers were optimistic about the story’s cutscenes and character-building potential, but ultimately left the session less impressed than they had hoped. Maybe the whole game will work out better!
If you want to jump right in when it launches, be sure to share your thoughts in the comments.
