President Donald Trump is planning to take execution measures to overhaul or, perhaps ending the Federal Emergency Management Bureau or FEMA on Friday to respond to the historical flood of North Carolina. He said he would blame the institution.
“I recommend Fema to leave,” said Trump in a briefing in Ashville, North Carolina, which was devastated by Hurricane Helen in September.
The President is planning to travel to Los Angeles in the second half of Friday, and Los Angeles has been fighting a mountain fire that has destroyed the band.
When he arrived in Ashville, he talked to the reporters on the airport runway, and Trump said, “I’m looking at the whole concept of FEMA.”
“Frankly, I like the concept [that] When North Carolina is attacked, the governor takes care of it. When Florida is attacked, the governor takes care of it. In other words, it means that the nation takes care of it, “he said.
“It wasn’t a good idea for me to have a group of people from an area I didn’t even know where I was heading to solve it right away,” said Trump.
Trump added that additional assistance in North Carolina and California should be directly flowing from the federal government.
“So, instead of passing through FEMA, it will pass through us,” he said.
