This is the shocking moment a brazen pickpocket tried to steal a woman’s wallet as she walked near London’s Oxford Street.
The scammer was seen working with another woman to chase the victim down the sidewalk.
As they approach her, one of them tries to open her backpack.
But luckily the tourist victim noticed and turned around in surprise.

The attempted theft happened at 5pm on Saturday February 17th near Oxford Street in central London.

A witness captured the shocking moment.
He said: “She tried to take her wallet out of her bag.
