‘Sister Wives’ Garrison Brown’s brother says social media hurts self-esteem

“Sister Wives” star’s real sister madison brown brushtook to the internet and posted a touching video reflecting on his brother’s untimely death. And she talked a lot about his mental health struggles, even as she addressed the conversation about mental health in general.

Maddie explained that her brother was battling issues internally and even used social media as a point of comparison to make him feel like he wasn’t doing enough in his life.

She also says something pretty damning…namely, social media isn’t real.

Maddie went on to explain how she and the rest of the family have been dealing with Garrison’s suicide, explaining how difficult it has been to find a new sense of normalcy.

She reminded her followers to remember that social media is only a snapshot of someone’s life and does not show everything. Remember, Garrison’s loved ones say that just days before Garrison died by suicide, she had just adopted a new cat and seemed very happy online.

Maddy went on to say that she plans to continue to shine a spotlight on mental health, sending a message to those who may be battling demons and telling them if they’re not feeling good about how they’re spending their time. I’m telling you that I want you to do it. , they need to change it ASAP.

I interrupted the conversation… Garrison was found dead. In early March, at my home in Flagstaff, Arizona. Flagstaff PD said no foul play is suspected because Garrison appeared to have suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
