selena gomez She tried to talk about Israel and Palestine, but ended up saying little and getting dragged along…but now it seems her company has made her position clear.

The singer and actress, her own “Rare Beauty” (of which she is the founder and chairman), just posted a lengthy statement on the Middle East wars…and suddenly they seem to be leaning even further here. is pro-Palestinian.

Rare Beauty’s IG account posted a photo of a maroon square with the words “Gaza Humanitarian Crisis” superimposed below it. Yes, that just tells you how they see things.

Their caption is a mouthful, and they are certainly trying to walk the line…but even there, RB does not condone or support what is happening on the Palestinian side of this situation, i.e. Israeli expansion into Palestine. I have made it clear that I will not. He is trying to eliminate Hamas.

Of course…there have been many casualties in the process, and Rare Beauty draws the line there: “Thousands of innocent Palestinian civilians have been killed in Israeli airstrikes, millions more… Thousands of civilians have been forced to evacuate and are stranded.”

The company continued: “We remain saddened by the horrific terrorist attack on innocent civilians in Israel on October 7th, many of whom were children. “We strongly condemn all forms of anti-government behavior.” -Judaism and Islamophobia. ”

Here they are admitting the massacre of 1,400 Israelis…and saying attacks on civilians are wrong. But for now, the focus seems to be on Palestine in that regard.

What’s interesting about Rare Beauty’s stance here is that it seems to be a much clearer message than what Selena originally posted last week… when she tried to wade into the controversy, but… caught a lot of flack At first glance, it looks like the focus is on itself.

While she did say she doesn’t support acts of hate, she was a little vague about which side of the aisle she was referring to. Now, Rare Beauty is revealing…it’s both sides.

But what cannot be denied is that they feel that Israel’s response at this point has gone too far – as evidenced by their categorization of the Gaza crisis. This reflects the massive demonstrations currently taking place across the country…mostly pro-Palestinian.

Selena may have had a hard time communicating her feelings, but it appears the LLC stepped in and spoke on her behalf. You know they wouldn’t post this without her approval.

Rare Beauty directs people to many resources in her IG posts, and also states that she plans to donate to many organizations providing international aid. They are also calling on everyone to be kind to each other during this difficult and scary time.
