Although the specific titles of these upcoming games have not been announced, the franchises shown off include: Crazy Taxi, Golden Ax, Jet Set Radio, Shinobiand streets of rage. Each title showcased is completely new with the following exceptions: Shinobia different, more realistic art style from past entries.
Many of the games seem to have been completely overhauled in terms of gameplay as well. streets of rage and golden ax Brought from the world of 2D fighting games to a new 3D world. From what we’ve seen so far, especially Shinobi As a side note, these titles appear to be true evolutions of previous retro Genesis games.
With the exception of Streets of Rage, these series are among the many works in Sega’s library that have remained untouched for a long time, despite fan outcry. I hope this is the beginning of Sega going back to the source of its fortune to bring it back into the modern world.
