The Rosewood Hotel Georgia, one of downtown Vancouver’s most notable hotels, has officially closed its doors due to some major changes.
The property, located at 801 W Georgia Street, is about to undergo extensive renovations.
The hotel and soon-to-be revived food and beverage spaces, Reflections Terrace and 1927 Lobby Lounge, are scheduled to reopen later this year.
“At Rosewood Hotel Georgia, we continue to challenge ourselves to create innovative experiences that capture the essence of Vancouver’s vibrant character,” said Safwan Abu Risheh, Managing Director of Rosewood Hotel Georgia. “That’s why we couldn’t be more excited to announce this major rebirth.”
All 156 guest rooms, including 22 suites, at Rosewood Hotel Georgia will be renovated as part of the renovation. The hotel is scheduled to reopen in early April 2024.
As for the 1927 Lobby Lounge, guests can expect an expanded area. The lounge will offer “exquisite versions of fine dining and artisanal cocktails” and will be open for live entertainment on select nights.
The popular Reflections Terrace will be a place to enjoy alcohol and drinks not only seasonally but all year round. This spot is expected to launch in June 2024 and feature a new fully retractable roof.

In the new year, this destination We look forward to unveiling a truly sophisticated space that reflects our unique heritage and sharing further details about our upcoming concepts,” Abu Risheh continued.
Hawksworth Restaurant and Bell Café will remain open during the renovation.
