Railway Automated Booking and Travel Assistance (RABTA) application allows users to arrange tickets, hotels, taxis and meals
Railway Minister Shahid Ashraf Tarar on Wednesday launched the ‘RABTA’ mobile application for the convenience of passengers.
The application, named Railway Automated Reservation and Travel Assistance (RABTA), aims to revamp the passenger experience by enabling them to plan their journeys in advance.
A PR spokesperson said passengers can plan their upcoming trips from the comfort of their homes through the app.
Public Relations Secretary Mazar Ali Shah announced the release of the application on social media, terming it “an innovative platform that will revolutionize the way we plan and experience travel.”
Initially, three trains will be connected to the RABTA application, including a Green Line train (Islamabad-Karachi-Islamabad) and two rail cars (Lahore-Islamabad-Lahore).
This application allows users to book and plan tickets, hotels, taxis, meals and enjoy a seamless travel experience during their trip through PR.
The ministry plans to link the remaining trains to the application within the next few days.
