The Ottawa Redblacks ended the 2023 regular season on Saturday night with a meaningless final game loss to the Toronto Argonauts, 27-22.
Fans in the Capitals haven’t been treated to a playoff season since 2018, with the team finishing last in the East in each of its past four campaigns. General manager Sean Burke and head coach Bob Dice are expected to be given another chance to fix the issues facing the team, but 33 members of this year’s team are on the open market. Many players will not be so lucky, as they are scheduled to compete in the tournament.
