Justice Minister Arif Villani is not going to run within the subsequent federal election, he introduced Monday.
The Toronto MP is the fifth federal minister in Justin Trudeau’s cupboard and introduced they haven’t run for reelection because the prime minister shuffled his cupboard in December.
“It was a lifelong honor to function a member of the Parkdale Excessive Park council for 3 consecutive elections,” Villani stated in a press release. He stated he made the choice “with a heavy coronary heart and after a substantial soul looking for the previous few weeks.”
Villani stated that so long as he has the privilege to serve, and that he’ll stay as pastor as MP till the subsequent election.
