blake shelton A pre-recorded New Year’s Eve performance is being dragged online… and some say it’s embarrassing for country music.
Here’s the deal…Blake appeared on CBS’s “New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash” in what was billed as a live show, but people learned it was pre-recorded and then fired him.

The problem is… Blake’s performance aired just minutes before he actually took the stage at an Oklahoma casino.
Fans quickly found out, trolling the network and Blake for double-booking, and unleashing a barrage of angry tweets.
One user said Blake was “an embarrassment to country music,” while another said Blake and Trace’s duet was “one of the silliest songs ever.”

Blake’s legitimate live gig was canceled at the Winstar Casino in Oklahoma, where he performed his hits and received better reviews.
Meanwhile, Blake’s wife Gwen Stefani She was also working…she was performing in Las Vegas…and it was live.
