The former supermodel and DIYA Beauty & Wellness founder has dispelled rumors about her “engagement” to Joe Pesci and her similarities with another ex-lover, Sylvester Stallone!

In an interview with too fabsupermodel turned CEO — the person who founded the company DIYA Beauty and Wellness — reflected on how the modeling industry has changed, including her feelings about photo retouching and editing.
“Well, I’m not an expert at being a model. I mean, I really am. Let me rephrase that,” Everhart, 54, said with a laugh, then clarified. ”[I’m no expert] That’s what I really wanted to say about being a model today. The work I do as a model now is completely different from when I was a model. There was no retouching. I mean, what are you thinking?my body, when i did sports illustration, It looked like that. ”
“For me, I always like the real thing, but if you can retouch it, that’s great,” she continued. “It’s a great tool, but when people are completely changing their appearance and deceiving themselves and other things, I’m not going to spend my days dwelling on things like that.”
“I just try to be positive and make people feel good about themselves,” Everhart added. “It’s great when women can feel good about themselves and their bodies. That’s great.”
In the late ’90s and early 2000s, Everhart was involved in several high-profile romances.She briefly dated and was engaged sylvester stallone Everhart was married to actor Ashley Hamilton from 1996 to 1997, before dating the Oscar winner. Joe Pesci 8 years until disbanding in 2008.

Everhart and Pesci were said to have been engaged at one point, but when asked specifically about Stallone’s relationship with Pesci, she insisted that she and Pesci were never engaged.

But Everhart had nothing but good things to say about the issue. goodfellas The star is currently 81 years old. “Joe is amazing. Joe is a really nice guy,” she said. “He’s very funny and smart and fun to be around.”
“These two are completely different,” he said, referring to Pesci and Stallone, 77. “The only thing they have in common is that they’re Italian!” he said with a laugh.
Everhart then married Carl Ferro in 2014, but filed for divorce in 2018. (The former couple had no children together, but Everhart had a teenage daughter from a previous relationship.) mother of a son).

Elsewhere in the conversation, Everhart, who has appeared in several films and TV shows, reflected on her acting career and shared one project she would revisit if given the chance.

There’s only one hour of daylight left.” Or the director says, “Yes, you’re spot on.” There are things that you and others who aren’t in the business don’t know. ”
“I don’t know what I would change about this movie, but it was an experience,” she said.

She previously battled thyroid cancer and talked about how her past health endeavors contributed to her decision to enter the health and wellness field.
“Just because you have cancer doesn’t mean you don’t start thinking about your health. So this was very eye-opening. And that’s when I turned my life around. I started getting healthier and reading labels. I started wondering, “What am I putting in my body?” “How did I get cancer?” ” “Why did I end up with cancer?” And I started doing it… getting better in mind, body, spirit and myself, eating better, better food for my son. I researched and worked hard to create it. And that whole process started, because, I’ll tell you, being a model, you know, the ’90s wasn’t the healthiest way to live. ”
As for whether she would return to modeling or acting, Everhart said, “I think I’ll do what I want to do.”
“And I continue to work as a model. I do the same thing as being a spokesperson for these brands,” she explained. “It’s pretty much the same thing. I represent the entire company. And I’m the spokesperson for my company. So it doesn’t change anything except that it’s mine. has a lot of employees.”
