The Grand Theft Auto series is all about vehicles, and nowhere is that more evident than in GTA Online. Rockstar Games has continued to add unique vehicles to the game over the years. 5 vehicles criticized in GTA Online
1) Pegassi Oppressor Mk II
It would be impossible to have a list of the most controversial vehicles in GTA Online without including the Oppressor Mk II. This is the most out-of-place vehicle in the game, and also the most hated vehicle. The Oppressor Mk II is a hoverbike that can fire homing missiles and also has defensive measures.
This, combined with its small size and incredible speed, makes it a formidable vehicle capable of launching a surprise attack on any player in Freemode. This is also why this car has gained a notorious reputation as a griefer’s first choice. Thankfully, Rockstar nerfed the weapons and defensive abilities to reduce the number and efficiency of Griefers, and increased the price to $8 million.
2) Deluxo
The Deluxo is another futuristic vehicle in GTA Online that, like the Oppressor Mk II, can hover and fly. This is based on his DMC DeLorean, which he previously appeared in GTA Vice City and Vice City Stories as a regular vehicle. Well, here’s the problem. Rockstar completely changed the direction of Grand Theft His Auto with vehicles like the Oppressor Mk II and Deluxo.
Until Grand Theft Auto Online, developers took great care to create realistic game worlds that reflected the era in which they were set. This is one of Rockstar’s selling points and is evident in several other titles as well. Red Dead Redemption game.
They ruined this immersion by introducing a ton of flying cars and futuristic technology to GTA Online, making vehicles like the Deluxo painfully noticeable. It’s a cool car that pays homage to back to the futurebut it should have been a normal vehicle like in the Vice City games.
3) Buckingham Luxor Deluxe
The Luxor Deluxe is the very definition of a pointless purchase, and definitely one that GTA Online newbies should avoid. There is no other purpose than for players to flaunt their in-game wealth. The Luxor Deluxe is basically a gold-plated version of the Luxor, priced at a whopping $10 million.
Most players saw this as a blatant attempt to convince impressionable young people to buy a Shark Card in order to afford this vehicle. The exorbitant price tag also did not sit well with fans, as it costs 10 times more than a regular Luxor.
4) Vapid Aleutian
The Vapid Aleutian is included in this list because it is a relatively new vehicle added in GTA Online’s Chop Shop update. The problem is that the price of this vehicle doesn’t match its performance. The Aleutian is a four-door SUV that supports Imani Tech upgrades and is priced at $1,835,000. The thing is, there are better options in this price range.
The Enus Jubilee costs $1,650,000 and comes with improved performance and Imani Tech modification options. Additionally, Aleutian Islands has two major bugs that are unlikely to be fixed by the next big content update in the summer.
One of the headlights is broken and has a non-functional LED light strip. On the other hand, windows that are supposed to be bulletproof according to the game files cannot withstand gunfire. These issues make the Aleutian one of the worst SUVs in GTA Online at the moment.
5) Police riot
Police Riot has existed in Grand Theft Auto Online since the beginning, but only as an NPC vehicle. Recently available for purchase, there are several reasons why this is a terrible vehicle. Poor handling is acceptable for heavily armored trucks, but the Riot’s inability to equip bulletproof tires renders it useless.
Riot’s armor is extremely durable. It can withstand fire damage and the windows are bulletproof. However, it’s a clumsy vehicle with no bulletproof tires, so if the tires pop out, it could be rendered useless. The police cars available for purchase in GTA Online introduced with the Chop Shop DLC are all exorbitantly priced, but Riot takes the cake with his $4,800,000 price tag.
